Driver extricated from vehicle after rollover crash in rural Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two people were hospitalized Tuesday after a rollover crash in rural Dawson County.

The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office said the two-vehicle crash happened around 1:40 p.m. on Highway 21, just north of Lexington.

A vehicle was heading north when it crossed over into the opposite lane and hit a pickup truck.

The vehicle rolled and came to a stop in the road.

Crews extricated the driver from the vehicle.  The driver and a passenger were taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.

The driver of the pickup was not seriously injured.
