Driver killed in northeast Lincoln crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A person was killed in a crash early Friday morning in northeast Lincoln.

The two-vehicle crash happened around 5:40 a.m. near North 56th Street and Fletcher Avenue.

A Nissan Xterra turned left onto Fletcher Avenue when it was hit by a northbound Chevy Tahoe, police said.

The driver of the Nissan, a 63-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
