The Merrick County Sheriff’s Office said this single-vehicle crash happened just south of Bader Park on Sunday.

Deputies said the car was heading north on Bader Park Road when it crashed into the ditch and trapped the driver.

The passenger was already out of the vehicle by the time first responders arrived, but both of them needed treatment at CHI Health St. Francis in Grand Island.

Authorities have not revealed the seriousness of their injuries or their identities.  It’s also unclear what led up to this wreck.
