Driver who hit bicyclist in Lincoln had green light, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The driver who hit a bicyclist on O Street early Thursday morning had a green light, according to the Lincoln Police Department.
Investigators say the 60-year-old was traveling west in a pickup when the collision happened.
The 37-year-old bicyclist was trying to cross at First Street.
They remain at the hospital in critical condition. No one has been cited at this point.
Police also say there is no indication that alcohol or drugs played a role.
