Drug dog found 18 bags of meth in central Nebraska traffic stop, sheriff’s office says

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A woman was caught with 18 bags of methamphetamine in central Nebraska, authorities say.
The Merrick County Sheriff’s Office said Sunday that it pulled over 42-year-old Jessica Rathgen on Highway 30.
A deputy and a drug-sniffing dog found the meth — plus some marijuana and drug paraphernalia — in the car, according to the sheriff’s office.
Rathgen was also wanted on two misdemeanor warrants in Hall County, according to court documents, and her driver’s license had been suspended.
She was arrested on multiple drug charges, the sheriff’s office said.
The agency celebrated the drug bust on Facebook.
“MERRICK COUNTY K-9 TEAM SNIFFS OUT ANOTHER DRUG TRAFFICKER!!” the post said.
