Dry Sunday; Storms to the west

Following Saturday’s showers, Sunday will be dry and mostly sunny for the eastern half of the state. Strong to severe storms are possible for the western half. We stay dry on Monday with smaller chances for storms on the 4th of July on Tuesday. Temperatures stay warm in the lower 90s.

A Marginal Risk (level 1/5) for Severe Weather is in place throughout Sunday. Damaging wind speeds and large hail as well as a strong thunderstorm or two are possible.

Stormcast is showing a storm system arriving in the afternoon and continuing through the evening hours on Sunday for the western half of the state. Both central and eastern Nebraska will see decreasing cloud coverage in the morning leaving mostly sunny skies by the afternoon.
