Duo accused of sexually assaulting three children in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two people are facing multiple felony charges in the sexual assault of three girls in Lincoln.

Maurice Thomas, 43, and Sahara Williams, 19, were charged Tuesday with first- and third-degree sexual assault of a child.

If convicted, Thomas and Williams could spend the rest of their lives in prison.

On May 30, the girls’ mother flagged down an officer to report the abuse by Thomas, a family friend, and Williams.

All the girls are 10 or under.

Following an investigation – which included interviews with the children – officers arrested Thomas and Williams on Friday.

Both have been denied bond, according to court documents.
