Eagle Raceway to give away $10,000 worth of kids bicycles on Saturday

Eagle Raceway volunteers worked through the blistering heat to assemble over 200 bikes they plan to give away Saturday.
The race track that offers weekly dirt track racing will hold a first come first serve raffle to give away bikes to kids under the age of 12 at the races on 7/20/19.
The event coined ‘Kids Bike Bonanza’ has been happening for over 17 years and racetrack owner Roger Hadan says the event is something that won’t be going away any time soon.
“No this will happen every year,” Hadan said. “It won’t go away, it’s too big of an important event for the track and to create a future.”
The money raised comes as a combined effort from sponsors and racers from the track. Hadan says an event like this isn’t too common were over 200 bikes will be given away for free and it should be taken advantage of.
“Been over 300. This year its about 220. It’s pretty cool to give back to the kids and try to create the future of racing that way,” Hadan said.
Kids 12 and under will have free Grandstand Admission and the first drawing for the kids bikes starts at 4:45 p.m. on 7/20.
