Early morning gunshots wake up residents in Lincoln neighborhood, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Several gunshots were heard early Wednesday morning in a Lincoln neighborhood, police say.

Around 2:50 a.m., officers were sent to the area of First and E streets after callers were awakened by the sound of gunshots.

Officers found 11 spent shell casings but no damage, according to police.
