Early morning motorcycle accident

One man is in the hospital this morning after a motorcycle accident. Police say the man fell off his motorcycle.
It happened near Capitol Beach Blvd. and West O Street just before 2:30 this morning.
Authorities had to briefly shut down the westbound lanes of West O Street.
An eyewitness says his friend was driving ahead of the group of motorcyclists when he went down.
Police say the driver’s injuries appear to be minor and he was taken to the hospital.
The driver was cited for negligent driving following an investigation.
With the recent increase in motor fatalities and injuries, authorities are urging drivers to be cautious on the roads.
