East Lincoln road closed due to water main break

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The city announced Friday that a portion of Vine Street is closed due to a water main break.

It’s shut down from Skyway Road to 84th Street, according to the Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department.

Manes Court is also closed.

Water crews are on the scene and are expected to restore water services to the surrounding neighborhoods by the end of Friday evening.

There is no timeframe for when the street will be repaired.

LTU encourages travelers to take alternate routes and remain cautious around the area.
