ECCO hosted a Lincoln Mayoral Candidate forum just weeks away from the primary

A Lincoln mayoral candidate forum was held on Sunday afternoon just weeks before the primary election.

“We thought it would be a good opportunity to provide not only our neighborhood but the northeast part of Lincoln a good opportunity to meet these candidates and learn about what they have to say,” Paul Johnson East Campus Community Organization President said.

Three of the five candidates came to the forum and spoke with voters on key issues facing the capital city.

It was organized by the East Campus Community Organization, and the organizers hope this forum helps potential voters choose who could best lead Lincoln in the future.

“I hope they become informed voters and pick the candidates and pick the candidate of their choice,” Johnson said.

The primary election for the Lincoln Mayor is just two weeks away.
