Employee assaulted customer at Lincoln gas station, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A woman was assaulted at a northeast Lincoln gas station early Tuesday morning, police say.
It happened about 5 a.m. at the U-Stop near 84th Street and Cornhusker Highway, according to the Lincoln Police Department.
Police said the clerk attacked a customer, but it wasn’t clear why.
The woman did not suffer any serious injuries, according to police.
The employee was taken into custody on suspicion of attempted strangulation and third-degree assault.
