Employee killed by explosion at a Nebraska ethanol plant has been identified
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Nebraska State Fire Marshal Agency has identified the employee who was killed by an explosion at a Hall County ethanol plant on April 17.
It says Jody Norgaard died from his injuries. The 49-year-old is from Grand Island.

Officials say there is no additional information on another employee who was hospitalized in critical condition.
Three contractors were also treated for minor injuries following the explosion at the Green Plains plant in Wood River.
Authorities have determined that it happened while work was being done on a holding tank, and they say it was accidental.
