Happy one year anniversary to the Lincoln Emergency Take out and Delivery Facebook group!

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Over 20,000 people have joined the Lincoln Emergency Take out and Delivery Facebook group over the last 365 days. A page that has helped many Lincoln restaurants and local customers throughout the pandemic.
The page was created one year ago today for every Lincoln restaurant to have a place to post their carry out menu’s during the pandemic. If you scroll through the group, you’ll see everything from restaurant specials, pictures and much more.
For one local business, The Taste of Louisiana, the Facebook group has done what it’s supposed to do, support local places.
“I have met so many different people off of it, this is where I get most of my customers from, so I love it,” Pokey Black, the owner of Taste of Louisiana said. “To whoever started it, I’m eternally grateful to them.”
The group has helped build businesses up and provided customers a place to see all of the options in town, during a time when many people are eating from home.
