Family ‘heartbroken’ after man is killed at Lincoln strip club

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Lincoln family is mourning the death of a double homicide victim.

Terrell Jones and Carlos Silva were killed Saturday morning at The Office Gentlemen’s Club in west Lincoln.

“I’m heartbroken,” said Wendy Jones McFarland, Jones’ aunt. “I mean, he was like my protector, my girls’ (protector). And now he’s gone.”

Jones McFarland said she raised Terrell as her own child.

“When Terrell was 16, he came to live with me and my four kids,” she said. “I was a mother figure for him.”

She said the family is still trying to process what happened, taking one day at a time.

Two men are behind bars in the double homicide.

Christopher Johnson is accused of shooting and killing Silva and Jones.

Darious Fletcher was also arrested. He’s charged with two counts of being an accessory to a felony.

Jones McFarland said she was happy to learn that the two men are in jail.

“It does bring relieve,” she said. “It’s not bringing them back.”
