Fans were impressed by Huskers road performance against Ohio State

The Huskers fought hard and impressed a lot of people during Saturday’s game against Ohio State.
Fans hope the team can keep the momentum going as the team enters the home stretch of the season.
The Baer family loves their Huskers as much an anyone. They make a point to go to WC’s South Sports Bar in Lincoln to watch games in the company of friends.
Doug Baer was impressed by the effort the team displayed.
“I was hoping we would compete, and we did. It’s a lot better than the last couple of years when we got outscored a hundred and something to ten. So yeah, we are definitely trending up.”
The Buckeyes ended up winning the game 36 to 31, a much closer outcome than previous match ups between the two schools.
“I thought it was going to be a good game, so I am glad they played well, stayed in the game, they performed very well. I am proud, just a proud Husker,” said Nancy Baer.
Moving forward, today’s performance paired with back to back wins against Minnesota and Bethune-Cookman have Husker fans thinking about a strong finish.
“This game today made me feel like we could win out which I hope. We probably won’t get to a bowl but I’ll take five wins after the way we started,” said Doug Baer.
The Huskers will be playing back at home the next two weeks as they get ready to face Illinois and Michigan State.
