FBI investigation at a Lincoln daycare could be related to child porn arrest

On Wednesday, with the help of Lincoln Police, the FBI began to investigate the Playful Painters daycare center located in Lincoln at 630 North Cotner Boulevard, near Gateway Mall.
This came just one day after the FBI arrested an individual on suspicion of child pornography. Neither Lincoln Police nor the FBI could confirm if the two were linked. Lincoln Police confirmed the following statement from the FBI:
“The FBI executed a lawful arrest of an individual on production of child pornography charges in Lincoln, Nebraska yesterday. Upon learning that a child may be at risk, we reacted immediately. We understand the outrage the community feels and that this news is disrupting the lives of families right here in Lincoln. Our priority is to protect the victims and bring the perpetrator to justice, and ask for your patience as we conduct a thorough investigation. We would like to thank our partners at the United States Attorney’s Office and the Lincoln Police Department for their crucial assistance in affecting the arrest. As this is an ongoing investigation, no further details can be discussed at this time.”
Playful Painters is listed on DHHS website as a licensed daycare facility but is currently closed pending this investigation.
Again, neither Lincoln Police nor the FBI have confirmed the name of the person being investigated but court documents say 26-year-old Titus Miller did appear in federal court Wednesday afternoon, on charges of production and distribution of child pornography.
Miller was the only person to appear in federal court that day on those charges.
A person who is familiar with the daycare and wishes to remain anonymous has confirmed with Channel 8 Eyewitness News that a Titus Miller was an employee at Playful Painters.
