Felon sleeping in car at Lincoln gas station arrested, found with sword, knife, and brass knuckles

 Lincoln Police arrested a man carrying a variety of weapons Friday morning. 

LPD says officers found Christopher Smith, 36, asleep in his car at the Casey’s Gas Station located at 1445 S 17th Street. 

Smith had an active warrant and was taken into custody. 

Police say Smith was in possession of a katana sword, a knife with a 4-inch blade, and brass knuckles. 

Smith was arrested for possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person.
