Fire at Lincoln auto shop caused about $150,000 in damage, LFR says

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A fire at a north Lincoln auto shop caused about $150,000 in damage, officials said Friday.
Lincoln Fire & Rescue said the Thursday fire near 20th and Holdrege streets is still under investigation.
But it may have been caused by a space heater, according to LFR spokeswoman MJ Lierman.

She urged people to make sure heaters are plugged in properly.
“And if you’re not going to be there, they’re a cause for concern sometimes,” Lierman said.
