Fire at Lincoln Casey’s under control

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A fire at the Casey’s at 40th and Adams Streets on Monday was quickly brought under control.
The blaze was reported shortly before 11 a.m., and firefighters arrived to find smoke in the building and fire in the walls, Lincoln Fire & Rescue said.
The fire was sparked by a cigarette butt, according to LFR.
Because Casey’s serves food, the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department inspected the building after firefighters put the blaze out.
LFR said Monday afternoon that the store is closed until further notice.
