Fire at north Lincoln home caused $650,000 in damage, LFR says
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A fire late Saturday night at a home in north Lincoln caused extensive damage, LFR says.
Several Lincoln Fire & Rescue crews were called to the home near North 14th Street and Humphrey Avenue around 11 p.m.
LFR spokeswoman MJ Lierman said the fire started in the garage and spread to the attic, leading to additional units being called to the scene.
A user of the NOW Local News App shared a video of heavy smoke rising from the damaged home.
The fire was put under control at around midnight, according to Lierman.
It caused about $650,000 in damage. The cause of the fire is unknown, and no one was injured.
