Fire caused $100,000 in damage to east Lincoln home, LFR says

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A fire that broke out at an east Lincoln home early Monday morning caused $100,000 in damage, LFR says.
The fire was reported at a home near North 98th and Holdrege streets around 1:45 a.m.
Battalion Chief Jeremy Gegg said crews found flames coming from the corner of a two-story home.
The fire spread into the attic but was extinguished before it got too far into the house, Gegg said.
Four people were evacuated from the home and no one was injured.
Gegg said the cause of the fire possibly stemmed from an electrical issue.
