Fire crew responds to collapsed wind turbine near Nebraska-Colorado border

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Fire crews responded Thursday to a downed wind turbine near the Nebraska-Colorado border.

A fire engine from Peetz — a small town in Logan County, Colorado — went to the turbine.  Peetz is about 17 miles south of Sidney.

A Logan County official said it’s unknown what caused the collapse.

Officials are working to get more information on what happened.
