Monday, warm and windy making for high fire danger. Rain/snow mix starting late Tuesday night. Windy and snowy Wednesday morning which will cause blizzard conditions and impacts with the Wednesday morning commute.
A FIRE WEATHER WATCH is in effect Monday morning through Monday evening for most of Nebraska. Warm temperatures, low humidity and gusty winds will increase FIRE DANGER Monday.
Winds out of the SW will be gusting 20-40 mph throughout Monday.

A WINTER STORM WATCH is in effect for SE Nebraska starting late Tuesday through Wednesday afternoon. BLIZZARD conditions EXPECTED with snow accumulations 3″+ . The Wednesday morning commute could be impacted heavily due to blowing snow.

We’re monitoring another low-pressure system moving in late Tuesday night into Wednesday. WINTER STORM WATCHES are already being issued for parts of Nebraska starting Tuesday night. Snow will begin in the west Tuesday night, with rain and scattered storms ahead of the front. By Wednesday morning, snow, possible storms, and gusty winds will affect much of eastern Nebraska. Winds will gust between 40-55 mph, which will lead to BLIZZARD conditions and low visibility during the Wednesday morning commute.
