Fire destroys abandoned home

The Pickrell Fire Department first responded to the blaze near Southwest 42nd and
They had to call in mutual aid from
Crews found the home and a neighboring trailer engulfed.
Both were abandoned and no one was hurt.
The fire was so massive, the departments let it burn. Pickrell Fire Chief, Alan Wallman, says “The house was starting to start up on the eastside, get everybody out here, everybody went to work and we decided, the 3 chiefs, just to let it burn.
Fire investigators are still looking into the cause.
