Still no word on what caused this in the first place.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — An early morning apartment fire led to evacuations in Lincoln this morning.
Callers first reported flames spreading from a balcony just before 5 o’clock, at the Thomasbrook Apartments near 5800 Lillibridge Street.
Residents tried to get it under control themselves by dumping water on it, but could not extinguish the blaze.
At least 12 units were brought in to help battle the fire.
The Red Cross was also called to help people who won’t be able to return home.
