Firefighters put out blaze at storage unit near Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A storage unit just northwest of Lincoln caught fire Tuesday afternoon.

The blaze was reported about 3:30 p.m. at Northwest Storage near Northwest 48th Street and U.S. Highway 34.

A Channel 8 reporter at the scene saw a storage unit with fire damage.

Smoke was rising into the air, but no flames could be seen.

Firefighters were tearing panels off the unit.
