Firefighters Union raises money for Operation Warm

The Lincoln Firefighters Union teamed up with Chick-Fil-A to help kids in Lincoln stay warm this winter.
Thursday, October 4, 10% of all Chick-Fil-A proceeds went to Operation Warm.
Firefighters use the money to buy new coats for children in need.
Jason Love has participated in Operation Warm for five years, and says the kid’s reactions is what it’s all about.
“The kids are so excited when they get a new coat, and a lot of times this is the first new thing they’ve ever had in their life so they’re very proud of it,” said Love.
The union has donated more than 2,700 coats to Lincoln children since 2014.
This year, deserving students at Belmont and Saratoga Elementary Schools will receive the coats.
