First 60° day in over two months

After a cold early and middle February temperatures are trending in the right direction.  Seven of the last eight days of February were at, or above, normal.  Above normal temperatures will continue through the first week and a half of March, if not more.

Tuesday is shaping up to be a warm day with high temperatures running 15° to 20° above normal.  Not only will it be warm but this will be the first 60° day of 2021 in Lincoln, and the first since December 22, 2020.

Along with the warmer air winds will increase mid-morning through late afternoon.  The wind will start out of the south, shifting to the southwest, gusting 30 to 35 mph.

TONIGHT:  Clear skies.  Lows will be in the middle to upper 20°s.

TUESDAY:  Sunny, windy, and warm.  High temperatures will be in the lower to middle 60°s.

WEDNESDAY:  Sunny skies and continued warm.  Highs will be in the upper 50°s to lower 60°s.
