First day of the warming trend 12/7/2020

Today is the first day of our warming trend for the week! Overall highs will warm back above average today in the mid-50s with light northwest winds and widespread sunshine. As we head into Wednesday, temperatures will continue to warm to the 60s, before dropping back to average by the weekend. Some of us could even see rain or snow Thursday night into Friday.

  • TODAY: The 50s return to southeast Nebraska with widespread sunshine. HIGH: 55
  • TUESDAY: Hello warmth! Highs top out in the 60s with more sunshine. HIGH: 60
  • WEDNESDAY: Another potential record shattering day with highs in the mid-60s. HIGH: 64
  • THURSDAY: Temperatures start to fall and only reach the low 50s with partly cloudy skies. Rain or a wintry mix are possible into Friday morning.
  • FRIDAY: AM wintry mix possible with highs only in the 40s. HIGH: 43
