First responders rescue six people from house fire in west Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Fire & Rescue crews saved multiple people from a house fire on Saturday night.
LFR was called to the home near West A and Folsom streets just before 6 p.m.
Battalion Chief Aaron Pospisil said they arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the garage.
After entering the home, he said firefighters discovered several people were still inside the house.
More crews were called to the scene to ensure everyone got out safely.
Pospisil said all six people refused medical treatment and no one was injured.
He believes the fire started inside the garage, but officials haven’t determined the cause or cost of the damage yet.
