First serve for Husker Games volleyball match moved back, will air on BTN

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The first serve for Nebraska’s spring volleyball match against Kansas got a time change on Friday.

The Huskers’ match against the Jayhawks on April 26 will now be at 7 p.m., instead of 6:30 p.m., at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.

The Nebraska Athletic Department credited the time change to the Big Ten Network picking up coverage of the match.

This match is part of the Husker Games, which will also include football activities in Memorial Stadium and a soccer matchup with Wyoming at Hibner Stadium.

The day will also feature tours of the new Osborne Legacy Complex, the Husker Equipment Sale and a food truck festival.

According to the athletic department, only a few hundred volleyball tickets remain for sale.

Tickets are $10 for students, $20 for standing room, $30 for C Level, $45 for A and B Level, and $60 for courtside/VIP. You can purchase tickets here.

Doors at the Devaney Center will open at 5:30 p.m.
