Five dogs rescued in fire near Hickman
Hickman Fire and Rescue initially responded to the fire around 2:30 p.m.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Fire crews rescued five dogs from a shed fire near Hickman on Thursday.
Hickman Fire Chief Art Robertson said four of the five dogs had to be resuscitated.

Firth, Bennet and Southeast fire crews also assisted at the house near S. 68th Street and Roca Road.
Robertson says no one was injured in the shed fire and the damages are unknown at this time. Crews are also investigating what started the fire.
