Five Marines confirmed dead after fighter jet accident

Five Marines missing after an aviation mishap last week have been declared dead, after an announcement from the U.S. Marine Corps.
The Marines were aboard a KC-130 refueling aircraft that may have been attempting to refuel a fighter jet in midair.
A search-and-rescue operation off the coast of Japan turned out unsuccessful.
In statement the Marine Corps said, “Every possible effort was made to recover our crew.”
