Five teens arrested in drive-by shooting in Grand Island, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Five teens were caught Thursday night after a drive-by shooting in Grand Island, police say.
Around 8:25 p.m., officers were sent to the area of Third Street and Wheeler Avenue on a report of shots fired.
Police said an 18-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy were walking when a vehicle, which had four teens inside, drove by.
An argument began, and the 15-year-old started chasing the vehicle.
Police said the 15-year-old pulled out a gun and shot “at least” two times at the vehicle.
A 16-year-old in the vehicle then fired about six shots, which struck three nearby vehicles, according to police.
Eventually, officers found five of the teens and took them into custody. Police are still searching for the 16-year-old who fired one of the guns.
