Lancaster County Super Fair – All weekend

The 2023 Lancaster County Super Fair returns with the 4-H/FFA entries, carnival, motorsports, free music, fair foods, fairgoer competitions and more.

SAC Museum Family Fun Carnival – Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The carnival includes face painters, balloon artists, clowns, jugglers and a large shuttle slide. Kids can enjoy playing many different carnival-style games and win prizes. Also, come meet Runza Rex.

Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum, 28210 West Park Highway, Ashland (I-80, Exit 426)

Porch-Art-Palooza – Sunday, 1 to 6 p.m.

Tugboat Gallery presents its third annual Porch-Art-Palooza. In this free showcase, sponsored by Lincoln Arts, you can explore Lincoln as you enjoy local art on the porches and front yards of homes in the Everett, Near South and South Salt Creek neighborhoods.

Art in the Park – Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event will feature 60-plus award-winning fine artists from across Nebraska and surrounding states. Find your perfect piece of jewelry, pottery, paintings, photography, woodworking and more. Listen to live music from local musicians. Dine on food truck specialties: Serrano’s Mexican Grill, Tropical Sno, Pig In A Bag, Special Scoops, Hangries, JP Kettle Corn & JP’s Nutty Bavarian, and Hit the Spot. Admission is free.

Lib’s Park, Hastings

Chalk Art & Ice Cream – Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Taste special Kimmel Apple Barn-inspired ice cream created by participating creameries and enjoy art by 3-D chalk artist Tom Meyer. Plus, watch other artists create with chalk and vote for your favorite.
