A local shoe store celebrates National Senior Citizens Day by helping seniors find the right fit.

(LINCOLN, Neb.) – A local shoe store celebrates National Senior Citizens Day by helping seniors find the right fit.
Kalan Dahir for Fleet Feet Lincoln says its important to stay active during the pandemic, especially for seniors.
The store uses a machine to show a 3-D image of a person’s foot size. Then, workers recommend shoes according to each need.
“We’re so excited to encourage them to stay active and moving for physical health,” said Dahir. “It’s just so very important that everyone’s staying moving and a large part of that is using good equipment. So, shoes, insoles, everything that you need to feel healthy.”
Fleet Feet is located near 77th and Pioneers Blvd. The fittings are free for customers of any age and Dahir says helping seniors is one of the best tasks they can do.
