Flights canceled at Nebraska airports as snowstorm blasts the state

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The airports in Lincoln and Omaha reported cancellations Thursday amid wintry weather.

At least one arriving flight and one departing flight at the Lincoln Airport were canceled.

As of 5:50 p.m., an evening flight to Chicago and one from Houston were delayed by about an hour.

At Eppley Airfield in Omaha, several flights were delayed.

And some evening flights to and from Chicago, Las Vegas and Detroit were canceled.

Airport officials urge travelers to check their websites before heading out.
