The major flooding in Ashland causes some to be evacuated and left picking up the pieces in the aftermath

Even with Ashland seeing major flooding throughout the city, the residents of Ashland began to see the waters to begin to recede.
“Right now everyone has a chance to catch their breathe,” Richard Grauerholz the Ashland Mayor said.
Trina McCall was one of several Ashland residents evacuated from her home on the north side near the Wahoo creek.
Even though the damage seems to be done the aftermath is still very jarring.
“I’m actually just a ball of nerves,” McCall said.
Trina has lived in her home for 6 years, and she has never had an experience quite like this.
“Yea like no control, you’re stuck I mean you don’t dare get in it because you can tell. I mean it sounded like a rushing even inside my apartment where I can just hear the water rushing,” Trina McCall an Ashland Resident said.
Even though it looks like the worst is behind them it doesn’t mean ashland officials aren’t warning their residents.
“Even though some of the water has gone down we’re not totally out of the woods to speak yet,” Grauerholz said.
