Flooding problems remain as the heat cranks up
Reports from observers with Ne Rain reported the following totals last night and overnight.
Many areas that saw the heavy rains are in a Flood Warning including parts of Sherman, Howard, Merrick, Nance and Polk.
With the passage of the cold front that brought heavy rain lows will be cooler tomorrow morning.
Another hot day tomorrow with high dew point temps making it feel like triple digits later in the afternoon.
With temperatures exceeding 100 this is what it will feel like by 4 PM on Monday.

The cold front that rolled through Nebraska last night and this morning is triggering heavy thunderstorms in portions of Iowa as we see cooler overnight lows by Monday morning. An upper level ridge of high pressure settle in to bring us sunshine and temperatures that will exceed the century mark for Monday and Tuesday with another cold front cooling us down a bit into Friday of next week. The next surge of cooler air on Saturday brings us the coolest day in the long range forecast with lower 80’s next Sunday.
