A Dense Fog Advisory will go into effect at 9 p.m. CST Wednesday and go until 12 p.m. CST on Thursday. Visibility could be reduced down close to zero. Give yourself a few extra minutes to travel on Christmas Day.

Even though we are looking at cloudy conditions for the holidays, StormCast looks to keep most of dry with a small chance of drizzle with the latest round of fog.
Temperatures tonight look to drop to the middle and upper 30s in southeast Nebraska.
A light breeze and high humidity will create favorable conditions for fog overnight in the Capital City. Low temperatures will be in the upper 30s. Santa and his reindeer will have their work cut out for them tonight!
Highs will try and sneak back into the lower 50s for Christmas Day under mostly cloudy skies.
Even with foggy start, we look to climb into the 40s and 50s tomorrow afternoon here in Lincoln.
High temperatures will be in the lower 50s for Christmas day in the Capital City. Winds pick up slightly out of the east-southeast.
Friday looks to be a little warmer with highs in the 60s heading into this weekend. A cold front moves through by Sunday, which will mark the return of cold, arctic air across the Great Plains. We look to warm up above average by the end of the calendar year with highs in the 40s.
