Pleasant temperatures continue in the Capital City as temperatures top out in the upper 70s, falling into the lower 70s and upper 60s this evening. A few passing clouds are expected, but it should be a great evening to go out and catch the football game.
For those down in Kansas City, expect temperatures in the lower 80s for tailgating, followed by middle-70s near kickoff. Partly sunny skies and a light southeast breeze for kick off, before temperatures drop into the lower 70s by the time the game is wrapping up.

Temperatures in the lower 80s continue into the start of the Labor Day Weekend before storm chances enter the forecast Saturday afternoon. Below average temperatures in the lower 80s and middle to upper 70s through the middle portions of next week. Sunshine will return to the forecast just in time for the Huskers home-opener against Akron next Saturday.
