Former Husker Bryce McGowens signs with Trail Blazers

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Former Husker basketball player Bryce McGowens plans to continue his professional basketball career in Portland.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski announced Thursday that McGowens agreed on a two-way deal with the Trail Blazers.

Last season, McGowens appeared in 59 games, including 14 starts, with the Charlotte Hornets.
He averaged 5.1 points per game with 1.7 rebounds.
The 6-foot-6 guard was a second-round draft pick of the Hornets in 2022.
McGowens will join another former Husker in Portland, as Dalano Banton had his team option picked up last month.
