Former Husker Cam Jurgens named to NFL Pro Bowl roster

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Former Husker and Nebraska native Cam Jurgens secured his first Pro Bowl invitation on Thursday.
Jurgens, the starting center for the Philadelphia Eagles, was one of six players from the Eagles to be selected to the Pro Bowl.
The invite comes during Jurgens’ first year as the Eagles’ starting center.

The Eagles drafted the Beatrice native in the second round of the 2022 NFL draft. He started his professional career as a backup to Jason Kelce.
Jurgens spent four seasons with the Huskers and started every game at center in 2021. During that season, he also earned a third-team All-Big Ten honor.
The Pro Bowl Games features several skill competitions and a flag football game. The game is being held at Camping World Stadium on Feb. 2.
