LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Former Husker and Super Bowl champion Cam Jurgens signed an extension Monday with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jurgens agreed to a four-year, $68 million extension with the Eagles, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The Eagles drafted the Beatrice native in the second round of the 2022 NFL draft.  He started his professional career as a backup to Jason Kelce.

Jurgens spent four seasons with the Huskers and started every game at center in 2021.  During that season, he also earned a third-team All-Big Ten honor.

He was selected for the NFL Pro Bowl last season.  During that same season, Jurgens helped the Eagles win a Super Bowl over the Kansas City Chiefs.
