Former Husker WR Stanley Morgan signs one-year deal with New Orleans Saints

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Wide receiver Stanley Morgan is returning to his hometown to play for the New Orleans Saints.

Morgan, who played at Nebraska from 2015 to 2018, signed a one-year contract Friday, according to a press release.

The New Orleans native spent the last four seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Last season, Stanley was brought up from the practice squad in three games to play on special teams.

He holds the records at Nebraska for the most receptions (189) and receiving yards (2,747).

Stanley became the first-ever Husker to have over 1,000 yards in a single season in 2018.
