Former Huskers Thomas Fidone, John Bullock make 53-man roster on NFL teams

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two former Huskers have made the 53-man roster for their respective NFL teams.

Tight end Thomas Fidone is on the New York Giants’ roster, according to the NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

He was drafted by the Giants in the seventh round of the NFL draft.

The Council Bluffs, Iowa, native played three seasons at Nebraska.

Fidone played in all 13 games last season, making 36 catches for 373 yards.  He had 4 touchdowns and 25 catches in 2023.

Undrafted linebacker John Bullock also earned a spot on a 53-man roster with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, per ESPN’s Jenna Laine.

The Omaha native came to Nebraska in 2019 and redshirted in his first two seasons.

He spent the next four seasons playing 47 games with the Huskers.

Last season, Bullock started in each game, totaling 70 tackles, 4 sacks and 10 tackles for a loss.
