Man with 6 warrants arrested after ‘barricade’ situation in Omaha

Authorities arrested a man wanted on several warrants – including at least one in Lancaster County for stealing guns.

Matthew Hammers was taken into custody after a SWAT team surrounded a home in Omaha Tuesday.

Omaha police called it a barricade situation near the 140th and Pine Street.
