Former Norris High School teacher enters plea deal in sexual abuse of student

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A former Norris High School teacher entered a plea deal Wednesday in the sexual abuse of a student.
Lillie Bowman, 24, pleaded no contest to third-degree sexual abuse by a school employee, according to court records.
She was initially charged with first-degree sexual abuse by a school employee.

Bowman was arrested on May 19 after “concerned parents” led deputies to investigate a relationship between her and a male student.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said Bowman began a relationship with the student in March last year.
In an arrest affidavit, authorities alleged that she sexually abused the student about 10 times.
Bowman’s sentencing is set for March 29.
